GrapeMoments – It’s not about the Wine

Really? Yes, it’s true! And I understand that anyone and everyone reading our blog would think that the main reason for our existence as a Bordeaux wine company would be to produce one of the best Cabernet Franc wines in Bordeaux. And indeed we do want to do just that.

But you see that’s an outcome, a goal and part of our Vision. It’s not the reason why we do what we do at Paradise Rescued.

Please don’t misunderstand us either. As anyone of our customers and fans that know us well will testify; we are (very) passionate about producing unique niche organic Bordeaux microcuve wines of the highest quality possible. And in so doing to shine the light back on the brilliance of Bordeaux and the uniqueness of the Cabernet Franc varietal in that wine region.

But we never started with that goal in mind. And even when we approach the achievement of that objective, it will only be a success if our main Mission is also realised. Namely to protect the rural heritage and sustain the rural community of our beautiful village Cardan – in the Bordeaux wine region.

Paradise Rescued Bordeaux Cabernet Franc ready for harvest - September 2014

Producing great wine is definitely our goal; it’s not the reason why we got started

That’s why we have included above in this blog, our recently published video clip. Have a look and see if you agree with our Mission? Can you see our WHY – the reason for our existence?

As you will be able to read in my forthcoming book “From Cabbage Patch to Cabernet Franc”, I write about how this all happened, why and how Paradise Rescued was created. And that then led to our Vision and subsequent Passion to create amazing handcrafted wines. First we had to understand WHY we were doing it, then to figure out what we had to do in order to achieve that Mission

It starts (and ends) with our mission. It’s not about the wine.

“From Cabbage Patch to Cabernet Franc” By David Stannard will be released on September 1st 2015. Join our Club and watch our blogs for updates closer to the launch time….[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
