A brand is one of those almost impossible intangible things to describe, yet we talk about them all the time!! Like everybody talks about it but nobody can accurately define what it is!! So what is a brand and why do we talk about it?
A brand is a combination of design, words and beliefs that describe for a consumer the qualities, values and product satisfaction of an organisation or its’ product(s) and enable that person to easily identify and differentiate it from other potential offers.[fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”]
A brand may typically include logos, tag lines, colours, product quality and satisfaction, in fact everything that makes up its perceived value and experience in the eyes and minds of the consumer potentially buying a product.
So why is any of that important to a small Bordeaux micro-cuve boutique winco? Well, in our view, pretty much everything!! We want our name to be remembered and associated with more than just a great quality 100% varietal Cabernet Franc. We want our customers and team to be part of something that is more than simply drinking a bottle of beautiful wine. We want them to be able to participate in a part of the story, the experience, that is helping sustain the heritage of a rural village in the Bordeaux wine region of France. Plus creating something that is different, completely unique and high value.
We have come to realise that Paradise Rescued is and can be more than just another small Bordeaux family winery. But with that, we have a responsibility to continually develop our brand and its’ perception to our potential customers. Every time that we do something new or create a difference, we ask the question: “Does this fit with our values and the model of excellence that we want people to associate with? Does it fit with our brand?”
If yes, then it gets to carry our logo….from wine vat to wine bottle, letterhead to T-shirt! And we will (very) proudly display and support it – always! That’s our brand. That’s who and what we are.
“A little elusive, very exclusive”.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
