Encouraging news, wine update and the web site is coming…

Thank you for all your kind emails and encouragement this week. And from the data that I can see, the visit and assistance of Jean Luc Daubisse was also a very popular and newsworthy activity. Below, I have attached the link to Soeur Petite’s excellent photos from last Saturday’s work in the winery. The wine looks superb – a beautiful colour.

Speaking of the wine, Albane has given us a brief update this week as well as the laboratory analysis. Judging by the remaining sugar levels, the primary alcoholic fermentation was definitely complete. And one can see that the malolactic fermentation is under way. The early morning weather around Bordeaux has gone cold now so there is a possibility that the malolactic may temporarily stop and then take up again in spring. No big drama except that we will have to watch it carefully across the winter period.

Meanwhile in London, Sarah Goldblatt is busy with the development work for our full web site, which we hope will be ready in late November. The initial design work looks wonderful.
