The patron has had his first taste!! The 2010 Paradise Rescued Cabernet Franc has been sampled from the barriques. Wow, wow, wow. The colour is stunning with a young fresh deep pale ruby red that one gets from a well made and beautifully macerated Cab Franc. As you swirl the gorgeous wine and lift the glass, the first thing one immediately notices is the amazing cassis nose – this is a really beautifully fruity wine. In the mouth, the taste is full and long, very forward, lightly tannic and starting to develop depth and complexity in the one year old oak – even after such a short period of time.
This is an emotional moment… the first ever Paradise Rescued wine. And to have created such a success is very very pleasing. Congratulations to Pascale and Albane Bervas – brilliant and thank you. And of course the support from the rest of the team. For our first ever vintage, with a small patch of vines in its first year transitioning to fully organic viticulture, this is a superb achievement.
Our main strategy for Paradise Rescued revolves around three pillars:- Good Fruit, Expert Vinification and Market Access. One of our values is Quality and Excellence. It is clear that we have met our expectations with parts 1 and 2 of this strategy and we are living our values. Now Marketing team, we have to achieve the same quality results with our marketing work!
