neighbours introducing Paradise Rescued to their friends and hearing them proudly and brilliantly describe what we do! Firstly their French is a lot better than mine, their passion is equally strong, their pride in the local business enormous and finally their tasting notes / ratings much higher than ours! It was a very pleasing feeling to have such amazing neighbours and friends. The team for this year’s harvest looks like it may even select itself! What an honour…..

It did highlight for me the good fortune we have had with our partners in Bordeaux. None more so than our in bond wine stockist, Bordeaux City Bond (BCB) in the Zone Fret at Bruges, Bordeaux. For reasons of storage space, security and the desire to have our wine stored in the best possible conditions, all our Cloud9 CabFranc was moved to BCB in Bruges on the same day as it was bottled. There the team has added the labels (not easy on a conical shaped bottle!) and capsules and put them into our beautiful 6 bottle carton packs. The cartons have subsequently been stacked onto four export pallets and shrink wrapped ready for export. That is the next step. BCB really stores some very impressive Grand Cru wines, not just from Bordeaux, but from across the whole of France. There would be no real reason to give little Paradise Rescued special treatment. However we are treated as an equal, nothing is too difficult to organise and we would recommend their service to anyone else seeking to store quality wine. Thank you to our Account Manager Laetitia Millet and Commercial Manager Céline Millac for your incredible support and help. Go BCB, you guys rock!

And a quick mention of a partner of a different kind. During the week, we were pleased to be visited by Victoria Jackson, editor of Guide 2Aquitaine, the Region’s leading English tourism and activity guide. We explored mutual ways of social media partnering together and I hope they will write a guest article in our blog.

We hope soon to be able to have a web page up with the names and profiles of our partners so that you too can make use of their services. Thank you to you all for helping making this project such a high quality success.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
