What a moment of sheer pride, humility and great emotion. We received our silver Stevie International Business Award for New Company 2013 at a gala presentation attended by more than 600 hundred people from 50 countries in the beautiful city of Barcelona Spain. It was a very special occasion for our small young company. As a French company with Australian roots and affiliate company, we were also proud to represent our countries and also the Union of Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur at this prestigious event.

We also would like to congratulate RTR Rete Rinnovabile Rome Italy as Gold Stevie award winner for New Company together with all other Stevie award winners 2013.
It was an immense privilege to meet with, learn and soak up the success stories of other organisations both large and small. Naturally for ourselves as a (very) small company, we were drawn to hearing the stories of other smaller teams and what had contributed to their success. Four wonderful themes emerged for me:-
Firstly, a healthy overdose of leadership passion was clearly evident everywhere – the boss or more often the owner loved every bit of what they did. Next came the vision stemming from that personal commitment and a clear focus of what their company was about and where it was going. Incredible hard work was the next attribute and it is a quite natural underlying core principle and value. Finally and fourthly, I saw a commitment to people from every organisation that went way beyond the pay check. In summary it was more than just another job – Passion Vision Hard work and People!
It was a privilege and honour to have been in this winners’ circle. Let’s do it again sometime – team Paradise Rescued you deserve it. What a fantastic achievement. We’re on Cloud9!
